Trezor Model T, Trezor One, Ledger Nano S, Ledger Nano X, and Ledger Blue can all be considered contenders for the “best cryptocurrency wallet” title, however, depending on your needs, you may find one crypto wallet better than the others.

While we focus on comparing Trezor Model T vs Ledger Nano S due to their popularity, we briefly touch on the other Trezor and Ledger hardware wallets.

  1. Hi Exodus, Im wanting to use exodus to stake ada but can i store the ada on my trezor and still stake it on exodus without moving it out of my hardware wallet? or will i have to keep it on the exodus wallet? also if i store my vet in my hardware wallet, does it still generate vtho?

  2. Seems biased. This dude is acting as if Trezor Model T isn’t Trezor. He’s saying ledger supports more currencies..unless you get the model T. Well hello fool, that’s what this damn video is supposed to be about. If you are looking at cold storage you ain’t bitching about spending $200. Noob

  3. I tried the Ledger Nano S but lost my LTC with a software update. Normally when something vanishes you can see where it went but here it was blank as if there never was any content so no history. The Firm never acknowledged it was their mistake so my coins were gone. I rather go for the open source. The Ledger hardware is good but being dependent on the efficiency of a company showed me it's not just Hardware you should look at.

  4. A discussion of the Ledger and Trezor wallets without any significant mention of the ways in which each has been repetitively hacked (and how each company responded to each hack) seems irresponsible. No wonder there are so many people losing their cryptocurrency these days; they're probably all naive regarding the security vulnerabilities of their devices and software, so they naturally do nothing to mitigate the risks. That's tragic considering how many people are putting a high percentage of their savings into crypto in order to shield against inflation.

  5. sorry my english no good, i only need a hard wallet for have a better level of security during transition of my token in BSC chain for example when i staking my cake or my btcst with metamask if i have a hard wallet the toke staken are more sure? for do this you consule trezor or ledger? thanks

  6. I BOUGHT THIS CRAP OF DEVICE AND AFTER A FIRMWARE UPDATE AND AFTER I WAS USING THEIR DESKTOP APP CALLED TREZOR SUITE – TREZOR STOLE FROM ME 3000$ VALUE CRYPTO THAT I HAD. I TRIED TO CONTACT THE COMPANY AND THEY DON'T ANSWER. I SAID THAT I AM BUYING THIS BECAUSE THEY ARE A COMPANY FROM EUROPE BUT THIS IS A BIG SKAM.

  7. I ordered both the Ledger nano x and the Trezor model T and this is my experience: 1.shipping time: Ledger about 2 weeks, Trezor 1 month, 2. Ease of use: The Ledger needs sometime to get around but once you' re aquainted it's smooth. As for the Trezor I did the setup and when I unplugged it and plugged it back again it didn't operate, the only thing showing was a white non responsive screen which takes me to 3. customer support: Ledger respond to e-mails in one or two working days. As for Trezor I contacted them about the problem and there is an automatic response saying that a ticket was created and that they will get back to me within 20 days! As I am writting this comment already a week has passed. So I have waited for a month to receive the faulty device, I have to wait about 20 days to get a responce, then I will respond back to them and it will take another 20 days for them to get back to me? All in this with high frustration as I a writing and with HOPE that either I will get refunded after some time (loss of time and nerves) or they will replace the device which I wonder how long it will take and hoping that it will also not be faulty. 5. quality: Ledger is plastic USB style with a nice metal touch, Trezor seems low quality just plastic, seems very fragile which takes me to 6. price: Ledger nano x 110€ rather ok, Trezor model T 180€ very high considering all the above factors. All I can say is that I will wait for Trezor's responce, if all goes well maybe I will return with an update.

  8. So what if something will happen with any of hardware wallets like manufacturer error or something else. You will lose all you coins? Lol.
I saw different reviews on amazon and some of this wallets have an issue with screen and loading.

  9. Thanks for the great vid, Exodus is my go to wallet i just love the interface especially on android, shows the going price ,what you own as well as charts and more. out of 12 wallets i own exodus is my favorite, only time i switch is when they don't keep what i want.

  10. 1. If Trezor website and company would went off completely, do I still have access to my funds via the Trezor One? If yes please explain how
    2. If Trezor wensite and company would went off completely & I loose my Trezor BUT I remember my 12/18/24 words SEED, can I still access my funds somehow? How?

Many thanks to any good answers

  11. Seems to me it actually wouldn’t be any more secure than just leaving it in Coinbase. If you lock this wallet in a safe for 30 years, good luck finding ancient software that will be able to read it.
